Who We Are & Who We Come From (w/ Desireé Dallagiacomo)
In this workshop, poets will study the writing of family, familial identity, and who we are because of it.
Each class, students will read an excerpt from an exceptional piece of writing about family and kinship, discuss and analyze the writing, and write their own poems.
Each poet will leave the course with 6 pieces of writing along with a syllabus and resource sheet for writing toward family.
