There is a lot of work to do. A lot of fights to fight, and so at times I have felt willfully indulgent or even irresponsible in feeling, let alone relishing in my joy. But that thought is a thief because the truth is our joy is our tether. In this generative workshop we will spend four weeks crafting poems that center our joy: what makes us giggle, what offers us levity, what keeps us here, and ultimately, what reminds us of the very things we are fighting for.
