Description
“Of what future are these the wild, early days?” That question drives Kyle “Guante” Tran Myhre’s Button Poetry-published book, Not a Lot of Reasons to Sing, But Enough, and this zine bundle is one attempt at an answer. Featuring seven zines (pronounced “zeens;” think of them as “little magazines”) on topics ranging from poetry, to abolition, to consent, to K-pop group BTS, to healthy masculinity, to getting involved in activism for the first time (plus a sticker and a signed note from Kyle), this bundle speaks directly to the power that everyday people have to work together to actively shape the world.
Each zine bundle contains:
- Seven zines: on getting involved in activism, cultivating hope, building a culture of consent, diving into spoken word, learning more about abolition, and two zine-length poems: BTS 40K and The Art of Taking the L
- An “OF WHAT FUTURE ARE THESE, THE WILD EARLY DAYS” sticker
- A signed note about the project from Guante himself
A note from KTM: I give these zines away for free at events, and the digital versions are all freely accessible online; this bundle is meant to be a way for people who aren’t able to catch a live event to get physical copies. The $10 price covers just a portion of the printing costs. Also, for people who picked up my 2019 bundle, this one does include a few of the same zines, but updated and redesigned, plus three brand new ones (and a sticker). Thanks for your support, then and now.
