The Places We Set For Ourselves
The Places We Set For Ourselves is a four-week online poetry workshop exploring home, food, family, memory, gratitude, and belonging. Through generative writing prompts, discussion, and community sharing, participants will write poems inspired by kitchenhome, memory, family, chosen family, food, and belonging through poetry. Each class includes prompts, discussion, optional sharing, and a writing period.

In Character
In this 6-week course, attendees will be given tools to create and develop a character with its own literary vice and use this character as vehicle for their own writing. The workshop will include discussion based lectures, prompts and writing exercises, a writer’s tool kit and multiple opportunities to share and hone your work. Personal edits from the instructor on poems written in class are included.
