Write Your Collection: A 4-Week Chapbook Intensive (w/ Aly Acevedo)

This four-week, fully generative workshop is designed to help you start or continue developing a themed poetry collection in preparation for Button Poetry’s annual chapbook contest.

Each week, participants will write new poems through guided prompts that approach their theme from multiple angles, while also learning how to shape those pieces into a cohesive collection. By the end, you’ll have a strong set of drafts and the beginnings of a chapbook ready for further development and submission.

This is a generative, discussion-based workshop.

Note: No existing work is required—just come with a theme, question, or idea you’d like to explore.

The Art of Intentional Storytelling (w/ Aly Acevedo)
