Through this poetic memoir, Ramirez weaves together pains, skillfully drawing upon their history. This book juggles topics of experiencing an eating disorder and going through treatment alongside discovering their identity and who they were meant to be. Each poem tells a part of this story, striving to illuminate the path they’ve taken forward through obstacles presented by illness as well as a Chicanx trans nonbinary identity.
